Yesterday’s patch 1.1.0 for Anthem includes a ‘sunken’ city and allows gear changes mid-mission


Were you wonder how Anthem‘s storyline will go on and when will we see a new update? Long (and complicated) answer short: it’s already here. BioWare added to the player’s critical path, which includes the Sunken Cell fortress addition in patch, which was released yesterday. Sure, fortresses are in general very light on the storytelling aspects of the game, but you can unlock it unless you have finished the main story.

Plus, this patch bounds the number of times players can actively return to Fort Tarsis. Many of the missions and options only will be unlocked once you return to Fort Tarsis or the Launch Bay have been moved to the major UI as well. This also implies getting the selecting contracts and quests from the expedition screens and access to the Forge while you’re on the mission, fortresses, and freeplay. If you’re not aware, what it means: players can change their Javelin in the field, a demanded item from fans.

The complete patch notes explain all the new stuff to the game. But notice some important changes to armament and gameplay, we got three new Universal Masterwork components here. Extended Sniper Magazines enlarge the damage by 30% and append a huge amount of ammunition. Rapid Hallow Points enlarge damage by 30% as well but also enhance the weak point damage of machine pistols and autocannons. By the way, expect the 30% damage increase with the Extended Special Arms Magazine, which also enhances the magazines’ size of heavy pistols and grenade launchers.
