From now on you can take a closer look at the gameplay of the “Hearth & Home” update for Valheim for the first time. The development studio Iron Gate has published a video that introduces you to some of the changes in more detail.
The developer studio Iron Gate is currently working feverishly on the completion of the first major update “Hearth & Home” for the popular survival game Valheim. Its release is still a little off, but the team is already giving you a closer look at some of the new features and changes.
For the first time, this gives you more detailed insights into the “Hearth & Home” update. With the help of some gameplay scenes, you will mainly learn what the developers have come up with for the food system. In the current version of Valheim the food gives you a certain value for both stamina and health. After the update is released, however, there will be three different categories: the foods marked in white will continue to give you the combined value.
In addition, there will be the two categories “red” (focus on health) and “yellow” (focus on endurance). This should enable you to increase the individual values in a more targeted manner.
But that’s just one of the many innovations that the update will bring with it. You can also expect new construction elements for the roofs of your buildings, expansions for the cooking station and much more. A specific release date for “Hearth & Home” has not yet been set. Iron Gate plans to release it in the third quarter of 2021. Accordingly, the start should be given in September of this year at the latest.
