Only two month till summer hits, and it means sunny skies and sandy beaches, and for Pokemon Go fans that means safaris. There were wild amount of events in 2018, so Niantic has preapared dozens of activities supposed to force Pokemon Go players go out to hunt for their favorite weirdly shaped creatures. The year’s events began with the first-ever South American safari zone event located in Brazil this year, another safari zone is planned in Singapore and will be ready in a month, but the festivities are still in preparation stage.
This year’s Pokemon Go Fest will be making events at three locations around the world: starting in Chicago, Illinois, from June 13th to 16th, and then will move to Dortmund, Germany, from July 4th to 7th before ending with Pokemon Go Fest Asia (we still don’t know the exact dates and location). Ticket sale details are to be announced yet “in the upcoming weeks”.
Also, Niantic says that “[a] number of Safari Zone events are coming up in the second half of 2019.” But if you don’t have money or time to attend any of the Pokemon Go Fests, don’t give up; Niantic also mentioned that “[there] will be plenty of ways to participate in Pokemon Go Fest no matter where you are around the world,” and they will provide the details soon as well.
