The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt goes to Nintendo Switch this year, as it’s announced by CD Projekt Red

witcher 3 to switch

According to E3 conference, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – The Complete Edition is coming to Nintendo Switch. Seems like CD Projekt Red finally heard the fans’ prayers.

The Complete Edition

The action RPG by CD Projekt, will be ported to the Nintendo’s console in its “Complete Edition,” which means it’ll likely include all the DLC that’s been launched since 2015, namely The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, all 16 DLCs, and both the Hearts of Stone and Blood and Wine expansion packs. It also comes with a set of physical goods: The Witcher Universe compendium, game map, and stickers.

Is Porting Possible?

Porting The Witcher 3 to Nintendo Switch is a huge undertaking, but the folk at CD Projekt Red are somehow managing it as it was officially announced during the Nintendo Direct. It’s hard to believe that such graphically intensive game can be performed at Switch, in other words the impossible efforts have been done.

Nintendo didn’t reveal the exact date, but has said it’s decided to launch The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt this year both digitally and in retail.
