All those who play in Phantasy Star Online 2 will not have to wait long for a large-scale new update of Genesis, coming to the MMO. The update will launch in June with a global launch.
In a live broadcast, SEGA announced that Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis boost will be released globally in June 2021. While the exact date has yet to be announced, it’s a much shorter window than many probably expected.
Also, there will be a Global beta test in May, starting on the 14th, and registration is now available for PC users. They’ll need to sign up using the Xbox Insider app on Windows, but if you add in, you’ll be able to get a feel for the upcoming overhaul before it launches next month. The beta will run from May 14-16, and players will receive rewards for participating in the beta ahead of the June launch. Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis will be released in June 2021. The team recently showcased several vicious new enemies coming with a new Genesis, as well as a collaboration with the popular MMO anime Sword Art Online on May 12.
