The release of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide was postponed to 2022

The Swedish studio Fatshark, known for the Vermintide dilogy, upset fans by postponing their new game to a later date. Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, due out this year, has been postponed until spring 2022.

Recall that the developers decided not to deviate from their roots and again release a cooperative shooter for four players. This time the action takes place in the sister universe of Warhammer. Users will be transported to a dystopian and violent world of 40,000.

“In the depths of the hive, a seed of filth grows, threatening to turn into a wave of all-consuming darkness. The heretical cult of Admonition seeks to seize power on the planet Atoma Prime and destroy its inhabitants. You and your allies from the Inquisition will have to eradicate the enemy forces, otherwise the city will fall victim to Chaos, ”says the description.

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is created in versions for PC, Xbox Series X | S and Xbox One. The game will be a temporary Microsoft exclusive and will add to the Xbox Game Pass library on release day.
