PlayStation 4 fans always have been expecting fresh news on a The Last of Us Part 2 release date ever since it was announced back in December 2016. Now almost three years on, a rumor suggests players might get their hands on long-waited game sooner than they think.
What The Leak Is
According to a user on Chinese gaming forum A9VG, The Last of Us: Part 2 will indeed come out next February, and there are four varying versions of the game in plans. A standard one, a special edition, a collector’s edition, and most interestingly, an Ellie edition. We’re not entirely sure what this version could include outside of the typical artbook, soundtrack, and season pass – maybe a bust of her head? There can be something interesting about this version of the game.
This is, if course, not the official confirmation of a The Last of Us 2 release date, and the rumor should be taken with skepticism at this time. Anyway, it’s only seven months away, not that much long time before fans get final word, from both Sony and Naughty Dog, on if this leak is accurate.
