The Genesis of Phantasy Star Online 2 has received an official launch date.

So, the new Genesis from Phantasy Star Online 2 has received an official launch date. The good news is that you won’t have to wait long to dive in. We already listed our PSO2: New Genesis Boosting category where you can order class level boost for your character. The new Genesis is set to be released on June 9 at the same time as the launch in Japan and around the world. The new Genesis has been in closed testing for some time now. Although it was previously announced that SEGA is targeting a June release, the exact date has not been fully confirmed.

However, we now know that the New Genesis will be confirmed on June 9. Fred White of the PSO2 global team shared his thoughts on the announcement in an accompanying press release,

“After our successful closed beta last month, we are now ready to share the official launch date for the new Genesis for Phantasy Star Online 2. On June 9, we will launch globally, opening the gates to a whole new world of Halfa for Arks across the planet! This date marks not only the monumental launch of the game, but also the continuation of the storyline in the long-loved Fantasy Star series. We can’t wait to enter this new chapter together with the players!”

The new Genesis will include new extensive game fields with lots of enemies to test your courage. It also makes improvements to the character models through the creation engine. By the way, the PSO2 graphics engine has been completely redesigned. Expect to see a more lush environment, more detailed, better particles, and more.
