If you’re a fan of FFXIV, with a digital fanfest taking place on Friday and Saturday nights. Although we now know the official launch date for Endwalker, there is still a lot of time until November 23. Thankfully, Square Enix has announced the dates when players can dive into the FFXIV story sequel: May 25.
So, Patch 5.55, which was broken during the Producer’s live email this weekend, will be released on May 25, along with additions not only to the main quest scenario, but also to the Nier-inspired alliance raid and Save the Queen quests. Over the weekend, the Square Enix team detailed some of what players can expect with Patch 5.55, including a new field area, Zadnor, as well as an increased rank limit of 25.The multi-year Hydaelyn and Zodiark storyline is moving towards its conclusion with Endwalker, and patch 5.55 continues this storyline to its conclusion. In fact, patch 5.55 will be the last major update to be released in Endwalker on November 23.
Last weekend, the developers of Final Fantasy XIV held their digital fanfest, announcing more details about Endwalker, the next expansion for MMORPGs. The second class was fully revealed, the Reaper, resulting in another melee class, although this time it summoned Characters. New areas have been fully revealed, including a zone on the Moon ominously named Mare Lamentorum, as well as some of the new tribes you’ll see in Endwalker.
But the most important thing is that now we finally know when Endwalker will be released, which will be released on November 23.
