The developers of the zombie action game Dying Light 2 Stay Human showed the game not only at the PC Gaming Show, where they told about the change of time of day, but also at the Future Games Show 2021. During this presentation, animation director David Lubrika answered several questions related to the plot.
According to the developer, the team carefully looked at the main character Aiden and his story, telling how he ended up in the city and what happened in the world of Dying Light after the events of the first game. He stressed that side quests are an important part of building the world, because your decisions in them will be able to influence the city.
Lubrika said that while killing zombies is fun, the game’s authors tried to provide a deep, thought-provoking gaming experience so that players could dive in for hours. In addition to the infected hiding everywhere, the game is full of people, each with their own activities and goals that shape their lives.
Dying Light 2 will be released on December 7, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
