The developers of S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 told about the new secret organization NIICHAZ

The developers of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. from GSC Game World published a post in which they deny their involvement in the fictitious research institute of the Chernobyl Anomalous Zone (NIICHAZ).

”Lately, there have been a lot of questions from community members about the cards, the lost journalist and the institute itself. Now you can add suspicious sites and offers of “undercover work” to this list. With such a rapid development of events, it is no longer possible to leave questions without our comment and expect the situation to be resolved by itself.
We are forced to emphasize that we have nothing to do with NIICHAZ. If we become aware that, by some coincidence or malicious intent, someone from our company took part in this, we promise to conduct an internal investigation and find those involved, if any, ”- GSC Game World.

In the comments the authors call NIICHAZ a new secret organization. However, the secret organization got its own website with contacts, news, materials and vacancies.

According to the information on the website, NIICHAZ is the largest organization in Ukraine and the world for the study of the Chernobyl anomalous Exclusion Zone, as well as the adjacent territories.
Some players speculate that the post was part of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 ARG.

Officially, S. T. A. L. K. E. R. 2 is created for the Xbox Series and PC, but the developers have not yet called even an approximate release date. According to rumors, the release will take place at the end of this year.
