So, EVE Online got its next PvP instance of Abyssal Proving Grounds. And this time it’s a 2v2 Gnosis gambit.
This event will last until today, May 25, at 11: 00 UTC, so you still have time to jump in and check it out. Basically, you will take part in a 2 vs 2 battle using the SoCT battlecruiser, Gnosis. The flexibility of this vessel should prove convenient, as you can apparently deck it with almost any weapon.
However, there are restrictions for this event. These limitations include:
- Ships restricted to Gnosis only
- Modules restricted to meta-level 5 and below
- No pirate implants
So if you’re thinking about including pirate implants, you’ll have to rethink your strategy. To participate, you’ll need Proof Threads that can be found in the loot drops in the Bottomless Dead Space. You can also buy them in the in-game market.
And if you want to track your results throughout this event, you can do so on the leaderboard. You can find out more information about this 2v2 Gnosis Gambit event here.
And also, EVE Online recently reflected on 18 years in addition to the Foundation, its last quadrant. You can read our full interview with CCP here. Creative Director Bergur Finnbogason noted:,
“It’s just incredibly humbling to work on EVE Online. It’s such an epic, epic thing. I mean, eighteen years is unheard of. This is absolutely weird. Throughout my years at CCP, I’ve been here for eleven years, and I’ve worked with many people who have worked on other MMOs that have become huge and disappeared, that have never seen the light of day, and creating an MMO is a daunting task. It’s a daunting task to keep the MMO up and running.”
