Jam City releases a new Patronus update for Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery; walkthrough

Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery will have new Patronus charm to cast soon, and also a mission to accomplish. That is as easy as buying Bless Unleashed Star Seeds! Protect yourself from dementors and go for a new adventure!

Choose Your Patronus!

Developer Jam City started teasing the debut of the Patronus charm a few weeks ago. Expecto Patronum will allow you to summon unique corporeal spirits in the form of animals, which will surround you with a protection from Dementors. Which animal will become your Patronus depends on choices you make while playing. But this only works if you have at least two of their Attributes tied at the same level. In other case, you Patronus automatically will be chosen based on whatever Attribute level is highest.

Walkthrough

So if you already have both Hogwarts Mystery attributes are tied, there are options you should choose to every Patronus Form:

Equine

• White Stallion – Choose “strong enough” in Part 2.3, choose “Equine” in Part 3.3
• Unicorn – Choose “protect friends” in Part 2.3, choose “Equine” in Part 3.3
• Abraxan – Choose “discover truth” in Part 2.3, choose “Equine in Part 3.3

Big Cat

• Leopard – Choose “strong enough” in Part 2.3, choose “Big Cat” in Part 3.3
• Cheetah – Choose “protect friends” in Part 2.3, choose “Big Cat” in Part 3.3
• Tiger – Choose “discover truth” in Part 2.3, choose “Big Cat” in Part 3.3

Rabbit

• Mountain Hare – Choose “strong enough” in Part 2.3, choose “Rabbit” in Part 3.3
• Spotted Hare – Choose “protect friends” in Part 2.3, choose “Rabbit” in Part 3.3
• Lop-eared Rabbit – Choose “discover truth” in Part 2.3, choose “Rabbit” in Part 3.3

Another way to choose your Patronus is by having one Attribute level higher than the others. This will determine which one you will get of a specific animal get, but you can still choose what animal to unlock.

Courage

• White Stallion – Choose “Equine” in Part 3.3
• Leopard – Choose “Big Cat” in Part 3.3
• Mountain Hare – Choose “Rabbit” in Part 3.3

Empathy

• Unicorn – Choose “Equine” in Part 3.3

Knowledge

Other Gameplay

There are plenty of RPG elements in that game too, although this is an “adventure” game. You can level up your character as well as customize one, that allows you to create a unique avatar. Players will also be able to utilize social features like bonding with other students of the same house and competing against rival houses. You can even go on other sidequests with those friends which will help build those relationships even further and unlock other game content.
