The developers of MMORPG New World continue to work tirelessly to prepare a polished product for release. In anticipation of the upcoming Closed Beta, which will be open to all preorders, a massive patch has been released that fixes 1209 alpha bugs covering all aspects of the game.
Of course, this is not the only change in the patch, although it is quite significant for alpha. The authors also made a large number of gameplay changes: they doubled the number of participants in the campaign, updated quests, improved progression and loot extraction, refined the interface, improved the character editor and the combat system. The first part of the patch note is available on the official website.
Closed alpha testing will end on July 6, and after a short break, on July 20, the closed beta stage starts. The full release of New World is expected on August 31st.
