So, the most recent inside the vault for Fallout 76 has shared some new details about its upcoming update 26, including changes for daily operations.
The update is called Locked & Loaded and includes quite a bit. The big update, of course , is the Daily operations. Daily operations will include a new game mode, new locations, mutations, new enemy types, and new rewards. The new mode is called Decryption Mode. Basically, you’ll have to find and disable three radio intercepts. Find the ” code carriers” and defeat them to capture the special code. You use these codes to disable radio intercepts. However, for each carrier killed, you will have to fight waves of monsters. Eventually, this leads to a fight with the boss.
But the new enemies include the Scorched Ones, the Moth Cultists, and the Mining Moles that you’ll now see in your daily operations. These enemies will bring unique abilities that will challenge you, including:
- Fleetfoot: Enemies have increased their movement speed.
The team also released a quick update on the PTS. Basically, PTS now includes mannequins so you can show off your new outfits. - Poison Blood: When enemies die, they leave behind poisonous dangers.
- Group Regeneration: Enemies emit an aura that heals other enemies in the area.
Elsewhere in Fallout 76, the team held an AMA late last month that covered their roadmap. This included the spring update, their summer Steel Reign update, Fall update, and winter update. And it turns out that despite the launch errors, Fallout 76 is actually one of the most popular Xbox games according to Todd Howard.
