In two weeks, the Neverwinter community from Cryptic Studios and Perfect World is waiting for new content with the release of the “Diamond of the North” update.
Brand manager Michael Clarke told about the key features and upcoming changes in a special video. First, for the first time in five years, a new class will be added to the project – a bard who can both cause damage with his music, and strengthen and heal his comrades. In the video, you can see the gameplay.
Secondly, the developers decided to completely redesign the progress system, including for the sake of beginners, returning to the origins of Dungeons & Dragons. The maximum level will be lowered from the 80th to the 20th, and experience, one of the cornerstones of any MMORPG, will be removed altogether. To increase the level, you will have to fulfill special goals – “Adventures”.There is also a wanderers ‘ guild, where you can find coaches of all classes and paths, and a training hall, the purpose of which is obvious from the name.
The Jewel of the North module for Neverwinter will be released on PC on July 27, and on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One-in the fall. You can discuss the game in a separate section on our forum.
