Mortal Kombat 11 may have another DLC character reveal soon, thanks to a strange occasion of grand theft auto during E3 2019. NetherRealm boss Ed Boon offered to MK11 fans he will show off a new fighter as a reward for helping a friend find his apparently stolen car.
On June 13, the final day of E3 2019, Satterfield’s black Nissan was stolen between 9:15 AM to 11:30 AM. Fortunately, Satterfield and his wife found the vehicle around 10 PM past night. It’s unknown if fans played any role, but the car is here now, and Satterfield was grateful for all the help, so that would seem to fulfill the requirement. Boon didn’t mention when or how he going to reveal the character. Although, he told that it had been found on Thursday night, tweeting, “Great news!”
Happy End May Not Lead To Reveal
Public pressure may be what finally led to the thieves stealing the car, but since that cannot be proven and Satterfield didn’t suggest that he was tipped off by a Mortal Kombat 11 player, it could be that Ed Boon doesn’t make a reveal. On the other hand, the car has been found and the community was enthusiastic about helping Satterfield out, so an MK11 character DLC announcement can happen, probably on Monday.
