Watch: Minecraft Dungeons gameplay (Beta)

Army of fans are waiting for this dungeon crawler to be released next month, but to see Minecraft Dungeons gameplay in action we do not have to wait.

Windows  Central provided us with the first 45 minutes of gameplay from PC beta. The game has some Diablo vibes and offers exactly what gamers expect from this type of game. The release date of the game is already known and is set to April 30th, but in the light of a recent COVID-19 events it might be delayed. since developers are working from home, this is according to game developer  Mojang.

Their Twitter post last week stated “As we’re working from home to do our part in protecting our community, our workflows will, unfortunately, be impacted”. “We’re working hard to deliver Minecraft Dungeons in April, but we’re also re-evaluating our timeline to make sure we bring you the best game possible. Stay tuned!”

When player appears in the dungeons world, he will be greeted by skeletons and creepers and in starting area gamers can train their sword and bow skills on them and complete intro quests. After successful completion of these quests player receives chests full of loot and is able to accept new mission on the world map. Leveling up gear via salvaging items and equipping stat-enhancing enchantments are also key parts of the gameplay loop that’ll be familiar to any fans of the genre.
In the video we have one boss encounter Evoker in the Pumkin Pastures map. Boss has 2 types of attacks fangs rise out of the ground and summoning flying vexes at the player.

Both of these abilities require players to be quick on their toes as keeping your distance and using your bow and arrows is important in efficiently battling the foe. On the highest available difficulty, the battle looks to be quite a challenge and requires planning and cooperation if you’re playing with others.
