Supergiant Games’ fast-paced action game has won the prestigious American Science Fiction Association’s Nebula Award. The prize was taken by Greg Kasavin, the lead scriptwriter of the acclaimed project.
Hades fought the following games to defeat Nebula in 2021:
- Blaseball (from The Game Band)
- Kentucky Route Zero (from Cardboard Computer Studios)
- The Luminous Underground (from Choice of Games)
- Scents & Semiosis
- Spiritfarer (Thunder Lotus Games)
The game nomination for the Nebula Prize was organized in 2019. The first winner was the role-playing game The Outer Worlds by Obsidian Entertainment, and last year the prize was taken by the TV series “Black Mirror“, namely its experimental interactive release “Bandersnatch“.
As a reminder, Supergiant Games’ Hades is now available on Nintendo Switch and PC. According to current information, the official announcement of the project for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles is expected in the near future.
