PlayStation4 is running for the last 5 years at this point, and there’s a possibility of the end of 4th generation in visible future, at least all the discussions about the PS5 have become a hot topic as of late. There’s a chance we will see the PlayStation5 in one or two years and along with that possibility the more questions about upcoming games appear, to be exact, about those which is going to release in 2020. Can they be developing for the next-gen console?
Final Fantasy VII Remake
Square Enix president Yosuke Matsuda was asked about Final Fantasy VII Remake’s first episode that should hit PS4 console on March 3, 2020 and his response has left an impression of Remake is not only getting to PS4, but may be it either hits PS5 once it’s available.
“I believe that our teams have made it so that the game will support both the next generation and the current generation of consoles”, Matsuda mentioned. “I believe it is being developed so that it is going to be playable on both, so I’m not really concerned about that and I believe that the fans are also going to be able to enjoy it on both, including the next-generation of consoles.”
Although, he doesn’t state things, we got that chance to see Final Fantasy VII Remake as a part of 5th generation, really an attention-grabbing response. And yet, PlayStation5 still can be released before March 2020, so in this case, the Remake’s March release for PS4 might be a bit outdated. Of course, everything now is just a guessing and hopes, so don’t expect much.
