Electronic Arts has announced the release of a major update to last year’s Dirt 5. On the PlayStation blog, community manager Chris Groves detailed what’s new for players in the famous off-road simulator.
On July 20, Dirt 5 kicks off the summer season. With new cars, tracks, gameplay and more coming next week, PlayStation 5 owners will have full access to DualSense features that will enhance the racing experience: haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and 3D audio in a plug-in to the headset controller.
- Buyers of Amplified and Year One Edition will receive an extended career mode and a set of Super Size Content Pack cars (other players can buy the add-on in the PS Store): 27 new events and 4 extra-large cars – Bentley Continental GT Ice Racer, Armada Rock Racer, Rezvani Tank and Volkswagen Atlas Cross Sport Baja Concept.
- All users will receive free content in the form of the Parts Unknown Playgrounds Pack, which adds more items to the game for the mode of creating your own arena.
- The legendary skins will be available for five cars, five additional prizes and two new tracks will be available in Dirt 5, located in San Conrado and on the Rio coast.
Dirt 5 was released last November on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Goggle Stadia and PC. The race is available on Xbox Game Pass since February.
