Dead Island 2, a game, that was announced back in 2014 and suddenly vanished from radars in 2015, is still in work.
Is Dead Island 2 “alive”?
“Dead Island 2, still being worked on. Stay tuned,” said Lars Wingefors, CEO of developer company Deep Silver, which showed a slide, confirming the game isn’t abandoned and will come to PC, PS4 and Xbox One, but this is all information for now.
Firstly announced in 2014 during Sony’s E3 press conference by Yager, the game was set to release in 2015, but after another one appearance at EGX 2015 it disappeared into nothingness. During following years some rearrangement of developer companies has happened, but rarely popping up news has been continuing to report that the game is still alive.
Since E3 is about to hit us, there’s a possibility we will know more, no expectations to a soon release though. However you can assume, the release will happen before PlayStation’s next-gen will come, which is planned to fall 2020. But still there’s a possibility that Dead Island 2 will stuck in development forever.
