Behavior Interactive Studio wrote a post about the cross-play support in Dead by Daylight. Now PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch users can play together and create cross-platform friend lists.
According to the developers, it took them a whole year of research, negotiations and data analysis to implement the cross-play. The first companies that accepted the game in the cross-platform sphere were Steam and Windows Store-these platforms “made friends” last year.
Recall that in September, Dead by Daylight will be released on Stadia. The version for the cloud service will also support cross-play. Next month, horror is going to add a feature for transferring progress.
