A leak recently confirmed the first-person shooter Call of Duty Vanguard – including a cover graphic. Dataminer found this and all other information in the files for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. Among other things, there is also talk of various editions and an open beta.
What was previously only a rumor should now be certain: Call of Duty Vanguard is the next episode of the well-known shooter series. Corresponding evidence of this was recently found by several dataminers in the files for Season 5 of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. There you came across several very clear cover graphics, among other things.
On one of them you can see not only the lettering of Call of Duty Vanguard, but also two characters who should at the same time confirm the much speculated scenario in the Second World War. In the foreground is a soldier dressed in a coat and apparently charging forward. A woman can be seen slightly offset, holding a sniper rifle at the ready. You can also see some planes in the sky and a lot of fire and explosions.
Call of Duty Vanguard – different editions
Furthermore, the data miners have found clues to various editions of Call of Duty Vanguard. Accordingly, in addition to the standard version, there will probably also be an Ultimate Edition with numerous extras to buy. This includes both different skins and a boost for experience points. Here is the overview:
- Lucas – Operator Skin
- Polina – Operator Skin
- Wade – Operator Skin
- Breacher – Assault Rifle
- Snowstorm – Marksman Rifle
- Thunderhead – Submachine Gun
- Night Raid Mastercraft
- Frontline Weapons Pack
- Exclusive emblem
- Double XP tokens
- Open Beta Early Access
- Call of Duty Vanguard beta test
The last item on the list also shows that Activision Blizzard and Sledgehammer Games are apparently planning an open beta for Call of Duty Vanguard, for which no further details are known so far. According to the Dataminer reports, buyers of the special editions will in any case have earlier access to this test phase.
However, an official confirmation or an announcement of Call of Duty Vanguard on the part of the developer is still pending. The findings of the dataminers, however, speak a relatively clear language.
