While we were busy with news about other games, developer Shiro Games kept his head down while working on Darksburg, an isometric online ARPG. In the game, you see players trying to survive in the titular city during a zombie outbreak-you’ll remember that it was among the titles we included in the February 2019 spotlight. In fact, very soon it will complete its early access and move to version 1.0.
After months of improvements and feedback from the community, Darksburg will offer a newly added co-op mode called Outbreak as the main gameplay mode instead of the PvP mode that was in the works. Flash mode promises endless replayability, with generated levels, dynamic enemy calves, and randomized loot, while players can rank their Survivor and earn items to combine with skills, perks, and abilities as they progress.
As mentioned, the full Darksburg experience will be available on September 23 on PC, Mac, and Linux for a meager $19.99. The new trailer below is for those who want to take a look at what to expect.
