ARK: Survival Evolved: the second part of the Genesis expansion has been released

The developers of ARK: Survival Evolved have released the second part of the Genesis expansion, which should complete the story of an open world survival simulator.

Together with their AI satellite HLN-A, the players exited the Genesis simulation and found themselves aboard a giant starship. They will have to challenge the villain Rockwell, voiced by David Tennant (Doctor Who, Jessica Jones), to determine the fate of humanity.

The second part of the Genesis add-on can be obtained as part of the Genesis Season Pass, which also includes the first part of the DLC. ARK: Survival Evolved is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store), and is also optimized for Destiny 2, Path of Exile and the Xbox Series.

In Genesis Part 2 players are waiting for:

  • Plot-oriented missions. By completing tasks, players will receive new bonuses and hexagons that can be spent on additional resources, TEK items and much more. Along the way, players will be able to find notes and clues that tell even more about the history of ARK.
  • Unique biomes, including the interior of Rockwell itself, which is constantly expanding. In each biome, players will find not only unique dangers, but also opportunities to acquire new resources and creatures (including the new “Mutagen”, which will allow you to improve already existing tamed animals).
  • New creatures such as brain-controlled noglins, high-tech striders, mobile mavingu breadwinners, and even the laser-firing starship Astrodelphis. Also among the new creatures there will be evolved R-variants of familiar creatures.
  • New moves, items, weapons and structures, including remote cameras, a floating hoverseale, a high-tech incubator, a TEK bow that shoots arrows of pure energy, and much more.
