BioWare has been teasing Anthem’s auditory with the mysterious Cataclysm since the game’s launching and even before, talking about the event like the feature that will make shiver even the most hardcore gamers. They promised the update release in May, but due to several missed deadlines the studio has cancelled the whole roadmap including the Cataclysm.

Finally, A Talk

On May 30, a livestream on Twitch was hosted by Anthem lead producer Ben Irving and community manager Jesse Anderson to talk about the long-waited addition, and the talk turned out to be not that much impressive, as it expected. Cataclysm seems fine, but doesn’t fix any major issues, may be even add some mess to Anthem. Plus, the launch is still delayed to unspecified date.

Devs plan to release an update on test server for PC. “Rather than rush [The Cataclysm update] out the door, we want to take time and get feedback from you and make changes based on what we hear,” said Anderson.
