Well, the Divided Kingdom will travel to the Old-school Runescape next month in June, bringing with it the next chapter in the Kurend storyline. If you are not familiar with the history of Kurend, the kingdom consists of five cities that all work for the benefit of peace. However, something evil is afoot and has divided this kingdom. Your role will be to unravel what exactly is going on and possibly fix the ship.
But in addition to continuing the storyline, two new contests will be introduced along side with PoE Currency alternatives.. The first of these contests is the login screen design challenge. It looks exactly as it sounds. The team is looking for your talents in designing the login screen, using the knowledge and background of the Kurend as the theme. If you win, your login screen will be the one that everyone sees. Other prizes include:
- 1st place-Amazon voucher for 200 pounds and 12 months of membership
- 2nd place-Amazon voucher for 100 pounds and 6 months of membership
- 3rd and 4th places-Amazon voucher for 50 pounds and 3 months of membershipThe contest is open now and will last until May 24. The finalist will be selected by the old-school RuneScape team. This competition is open according to the format: documentary, parody, etc. You are tasked with creating a video summarizing the events leading up to the Division of the Kingdom before it hits the Old-School Rune Landscape.
